Who we are
USA Insurance Easy is a US-focused editorial publication covering auto, home, renters, and health insurance. We're not an insurance company. We're not a broker. We don't sell policies, and we don't pretend to be your agent. We're a small team of writers and researchers who got tired of watching friends and family overpay for coverage they didn't understand — and underbuy coverage they actually needed.
Our work is built for one specific reader: the American who is buying insurance for the first time (or the fifth, but still feels like the first) and wants a real explanation instead of a sales pitch.
What we do
- Long-form guides. Each article is reported, sourced, and built around one decision the reader is actually trying to make.
- Plain language. No "synergy," no "comprehensive holistic solutions" — just the words a normal person uses at a kitchen table.
- Honest comparisons. When two products are close, we say so. When one is clearly worse, we say that too.
- Updated coverage. Rates, IRS limits, ACA rules, and state-level changes move every year. We update accordingly.
What we don't do
We do not sell insurance, quote insurance, bind insurance, or replace a licensed agent in your state. We do not collect commissions for ranking one carrier above another. When we link to a product or service that pays us an affiliate commission, we disclose it (see the Affiliate Disclosure).
Editorial independence
No advertiser, partner, or affiliate has any input into our editorial coverage. Reviews, rankings, and "best of" picks are made by our editorial team alone, based on the methodology described in our Editorial Policy. If we ever get it wrong, write us at editorial@usainsuranceasy.com and we'll correct the record — publicly.
Who we write for
First-time car insurance buyers. New homeowners staring at a 90-page declarations page. Renters who keep meaning to get a $14/month policy and never do. People who just got laid off and have 60 days to decide between COBRA and the ACA marketplace. People who just opened an HSA and have no idea what counts.
